WGAFMail
I am starting a new web-based e-mail service called WGAFMail. That is, "Who Gives a Fuck Mail." I am so tired of reading about GMail on countless websites. I cannot really fathom what the big deal is still. Wooo... one gigabyte. If you need that much space to store e-mail messages, your mother did not teach you how to throw away things when you are done with them. I also do not understand why anyone who has their own domain name would want a third-party e-mail address so badly anyway. I have one for emergency use in case something on my server goes pear-shaped, but this obsession in the blogging community over GMail and the precious goddamn invites people crave so badly is ridiculous. Get over it already and resume writing interesting stories about your life, work and day to day experiences.

heh... I can understand why people like gmail. I've got an account and like it.
So hotmail used to give you 2 MB storage. Limits email sizes to 1MB apiece. See, it's already a problem... if a couple friends each send you some pictures, you've taken up half of your storage account. I've kept my accounts for several years, and I've ended up getting a lot of emails I need to keep... for records, for receipts, for whatever... it adds up. I go through and clean out everything but I end up needing a lot of it. Everything caught by your spam filter also counts towards your total space, and that adds up FAST. Not to mention... it's slow. And when you run into a situation where you're taking up 1.5MB (which is NOT a ton of space), and you get some more emails with pictures from friends... well, then you start missing emails. Which is really bad.
On the other hand, you'll never run out of space in Gmail, it's really fast, has nice features, filters out spam perfectly, doesn't have insanely small constraints on sending/receiving messages... it takes care of all the problems. So yeah, it's good.
I have 9 hotmail accounts. Yeah... nine. One for school, one for FSUPB, one for the speedball team, one for spam, one for me personally, and a couple older ones I never use any more.
But anyways... Hotmail is now up to 250MB storage, so I guess it's not an issue any more.
I promise my next post will be an interesting story about my life, work and day to day experiences.
