I made the widescreen edition of this photograph because I thought it would make a nice desktop wallpaper. Unfortunately, there is not much information online regarding Aurora Steel Products Co. of Aurora, Illinois. They operated at the address on the cabinet, 153 Third Street, from 1956 to 1973 if not longer. I was unable to locate corporate filings with the State of Illinois but at some point, the 130-year-old Richards-Wilcox, Inc. purchased ASP and continues to manufacture some Aurora-branded products.
